The film released on 14 October 2010. Plot Kavita Jaiswal (Priyanka Chopra) is the second daughter of Seth Prashant Jaiswal (Nakul Vaid) and his wife Rekha (Anupama Verma) who is about to get married to Anees, a rich college professor (Jaspal Bhatti). To avoid her, Kavita calls off the marriage and leaves home with her two kids and leaves for London, where she lives with her ex-husband Raja Jaiswal (Ranbir Kapoor), whom she was about to marry, and their two kids. Kavita returns to India after five years, where she meets an old friend, Sarvagya Sharma (Deepika Padukone), who is working for her father's company and is married to a successful architect named Abhishek. Kavita falls in love with Abhishek and Sarvagya is shocked by this news and rushes to London to stop her daughter. Meanwhile, Kavita's father is recovering from a heart attack and she goes to meet him in a remote village in Ladakh. She meets the villager, Neeraj (Carl Marino), who is also there to see him, and they fall in love. Her father dies of a heart attack as a result of which she gets a job offer from Neeraj to work in his company. She leaves with her kids for India and meets Sarvagya and Abhishek in Mumbai and goes to Ladakh to stay with Neeraj. Sarvagya confronts her for being married to Raja and for not revealing this to the company. Kavita tells Sarvagya that she doesn't want to be with Raja anymore and wants to marry Neeraj, but Sarvagya reveals that he is about to get married to Nirmala, a village woman from Ladakh, and refuses to talk to her daughter any more. Kavita returns to Mumbai, where she meets Nirmala and finds out that her daughter Ananya's (Mithun Raut) name is Nirmala and she is the village woman whom Abhishek is going to marry. Kavita fights with her and tries to stop Abhishek from the wedding. She catches Abhishek and Nirmala together, but they escape. Kavita reveals to everyone that she is married to Raja and
