Category:Architecture softwareThe present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling the flow of air into and out of an internal combustion engine and more particularly to an apparatus for controlling the air flow to a combustion engine such as a motor vehicle engine.
It is known that the flow of air into an internal combustion engine is controlled by a carburetor for an automobile engine. It is also known that the air flow can be controlled by an air valve or venturi in an induction system of the engine.
In addition, it is known to provide an engine with an induction system which has at least two different air intakes and two different air exhausts for delivery of air to the engine. This is done for purposes of maintaining uniform air flow to the engine and also for better controlling the amount of air delivered to the engine.
It is also known to provide an air induction system which uses two air venturis which are switched to deliver air to an engine, one for cruising and one for accelerating.
It is also known to provide an air induction system having two air intake vents which can be reversed. The reversal of air flow would be desirable for example in a vehicle, where, when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is off, the passenger's window is open and an airflow through the passenger compartment is desired. However, when the vehicle is traveling at a high speed and the engine is on, an air flow through the passenger compartment is not desirable. It is desirable to switch the air flow to the passenger compartment air vents for the duration of the vehicle's travel and to switch the air flow to the air vents located in the engine compartment for traveling at a low speed.Q:
How to reference one field in another field in SQL?
I have two tables, Table1 and Table2. Table1 has a foreign key of some value, and Table2 has a nullable foreign key that can point to Table1. However, I want to create a where clause for Table2 that references the value of that foreign key.
How can I do that in SQL?
A:
SELECT * FROM Table2
INNER JOIN Table1
ON Table1.FieldId = Table2.FieldId
WHERE Table2.FieldId =?
